On the Berm

The officer takes your driver's license, car registration, Highway Patrol Safety Report, and proof of insurance. Before he returns to his car to call in wants and warrants, you meekly ask, "was I speeding, Officer?"

He pulls out his gun and shoots you dead
He says "You tried to run the Mayor's wife into a truck on Dismal Hill"
He says, "Yes" and breaks into gales of laughter
